Preschool Open House

ADAMS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRESCHOOL

This is my last year teaching preschool. We will be in school through May 26, 2017. We are not taking enrollment for next year. Thank you!

ALL CLASSES FOR THE 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR ARE CURRENTLY FULL. IF A SPOT BECOMES AVAILABLE, IT WILL BE POSTED IMMEDIATELY.

Classes offered:

Mon - Fri 8:45 - 11:15 (FULL) or 12:15 - 2:45 ( FULL)

This class is for 4/5 year olds. Children must be 4 by Aug 31st and attending kindergarten fall 2017. $125/month

Mon, Wed, Fri 9:30 - 11:30 (FULL) or 12:00 - 2:00 (FULL)

This class is for 3/4 year olds- $85/month -

Tues, Thurs 9:30 - 11:30 (FULL) or 12:00 - 2:00 (FULL).

This class is for 3/4 year olds - $70/month

I keep a waiting list for all those who would like a spot in a full class. There is a chance that a spot may open up, as things change for people over the summer.

Preschool Open House

Our open house is scheduled for Friday, September 4th. Please come anytime between 12 noon and 2:00. You can meet your child's teachers, see the classroom, meet Franklin (our Russian Tortoise/class pet) and play! Please plan to attend. This is the perfect opportunity for your child to see what things are like. This makes the first day of school less aprehensive and scary!

Hello! My name is Kate Wilson! I would love love love to intern for you this Winter semester. I'm not sure how to get a hold of you to e-mail or call to set things for us to meet. I have a little toddler at home and this winter will be my last semester. Currently I am in the preschool on campus for BYU-Idaho and love it. I was an Elementary Education for 3 years and switched to Child Development after my son was born. I love both programs. In short, I love to teach, learn and love teaching and being with children and most of all being a mom!!! My e-mail is row04008@byui.edu

The mission of Adams Preschool

Adams Elementary School Preschool believes in a child directed classroom that offers hands-on opportunities for learning in a safe and clean environment. With the needs of 3 to 5 year-olds in mind, our mission is to aid and support children in their development of language, the strengthening of fine and gross motor skills, the development of cognitive skills in preparation for reading and math readiness, and socio-emotional skills. The centers in the classroom include dramatic play, art, literacy, math, and science. We believe that children learn through play and this is a vital component of our classroom. The child/teacher ratio is kept at 3 to 1 to maximize learning and offer more one on one attention. Adams views the teacher/parent relationship as a team effort and encourages parents to be active members in our classroom. Our door is always open.
