ADAMS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRESCHOOL

This is my last year teaching preschool. We will be in school through May 26, 2017. We are not taking enrollment for next year. Thank you!

ALL CLASSES FOR THE 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR ARE CURRENTLY FULL. IF A SPOT BECOMES AVAILABLE, IT WILL BE POSTED IMMEDIATELY.

Classes offered:

Mon - Fri 8:45 - 11:15 (FULL) or 12:15 - 2:45 ( FULL)

This class is for 4/5 year olds. Children must be 4 by Aug 31st and attending kindergarten fall 2017. $125/month

Mon, Wed, Fri 9:30 - 11:30 (FULL) or 12:00 - 2:00 (FULL)

This class is for 3/4 year olds- $85/month -

Tues, Thurs 9:30 - 11:30 (FULL) or 12:00 - 2:00 (FULL).

This class is for 3/4 year olds - $70/month

I keep a waiting list for all those who would like a spot in a full class. There is a chance that a spot may open up, as things change for people over the summer.

SCHOOL DAYS, SCHOOL DAYS

We're almost there... back to (pre)school! First of all I want to thank all of my parents, past and present, for making recommendations to other parents about us! I have been getting lots of calls lately and so many have told me that they were referred by a friend. That is the best compliment ever! THANK YOU!!!

I've been spending time over at the preschool this week getting things ready. I love our classroom and the chance we get to be at Adams Elementary. All of our rent $$ goes right to the school and right to the teachers to help cover costs. It make me happy to know that KRK Preschool can help out and still be so blessed! Thank you Steve Gentile (the principal) and all the teachers for giving us this opportunity!

The weather looks like it will be pretty warm when school starts so shorts and sandals are fine. The classroom also has air conditioning. But as always, dress for the mess:)

OPEN HOUSE

Hopefully you have all received your open house postcards. Our Monday - Friday Pre-K kids are invited to come on Tuesday (Aug 30th) from 12:00 - 2:00. Our MWF and T TH preschoolers are invited to come on Wednesday (Aug 31st) from 12:00 - 2:00. You can drop in anytime to visit and look around. If you have children in more than one class, feel free to come either day!

I was over at the preschool today cleaning and setting up. I'm getting REALLY excited! We have some fun things planned for the beginning of the school year including a field trip to the BYU-I planetarium. Also, the teachers and I are making a giant caterpillar to hang from the ceiling. I just thought our classroom wasn't quite complete without one!

FOUR WEEKS FROM TOMORROW!!

That's when we begin, four weeks from tomorrow. It's coming fast! Postcard invites are going out this week regarding open house times and dates. Hope to see you there!

If you haven't sent in your registration, do so quickly! My phone is ringing everyday with inquiries about open spots. I can only take a couple more children in my MWF and my T TH class. Our Monday - Friday Pre-K is full, full, full!

I have been school shopping for my kids and have found fantastic deals at crazy8.com (owned by Gymboree) and landsend.com. I would love to know what some of your favorite shopping spots are!

Enjoy the last little bit of summer and send Mother Nature a message that we want this warm weather to stay for a few more months (minus the thunder storms). See you at open house!

The mission of Adams Preschool

Adams Elementary School Preschool believes in a child directed classroom that offers hands-on opportunities for learning in a safe and clean environment. With the needs of 3 to 5 year-olds in mind, our mission is to aid and support children in their development of language, the strengthening of fine and gross motor skills, the development of cognitive skills in preparation for reading and math readiness, and socio-emotional skills. The centers in the classroom include dramatic play, art, literacy, math, and science. We believe that children learn through play and this is a vital component of our classroom. The child/teacher ratio is kept at 3 to 1 to maximize learning and offer more one on one attention. Adams views the teacher/parent relationship as a team effort and encourages parents to be active members in our classroom. Our door is always open.
